Lafond Corporate Offices

Design
Offices

An environment design aligned with Lafond's image and values

Interior design for the Lafond corporate offices. An achievement by Rümker.

A new layout for a corporate office, designed specifically with the wellbeing of workers in mind and with a focus on ambiance and ergonomy

CLIENT

Groupe Lafond

Mandate

Create an office layout with both privacy and lots of natural light, while increasing the number of workstations in a small area.

Approach

Despite the necessity of maintaining a level of confidentiality for clients and advisors, we attempted to open up certain key aspects of the plan to permit contemplation of Old Montreal vistas from within the office. Creating a balance between privacy and openness became the designers’ objective, which they applied notably in the main conference room with fenestration on two sides.

ResultS

The new working environment reflects the family business’s humble side and integrity, right down to the materials chosen: we have opted for natural, noble and sober textures.

“We have given wood pride of place. The embracing archway, with its use of slate brings a warmth to the entrance."
